Prayer Gatherings

Tent of Meeting Prayer | Wednesdays, 7-8 am | North Lobby at CrossPoint.

(This prayer group will pause meeting for summer from May 7 - August 6, 2025)

Everyone is welcome to come participate in this weekly time of seeking God and prayer. When we gather we will This spend the first part of our time in personal listening and responding to God and the second part in communal prayer together along a guided theme.

The inspiration for our name is Exodus 33:7, "Now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp some distance away, calling it the “tent of meeting.” Anyone inquiring of the Lord would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp."

Young At Heart Prayer | First Thursday of the Month, 10-11 am | North Lobby at CrossPoint. Join us for a time of coffee, sharing, and prayer.

Before we do anything, we pray. Share your prayer requests with the #CPfamily or you can choose to share them with just church staff. You are welcome to add your name to the request or you can choose to remain anonymous. No matter what you choose, you will be prayed for. You are not alone!

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus". Philippians 4.6-7

Many of you know that Lavon had a bone marrow biopsy 2 weeks ago. We received results this morning. He has Myelodysplastic Syndrome, low grade, otherwise known as MDS. He will be receiving injections every 2 weeks to hopefully bring up his hemoglobin, red blood cells, and white cells, and this will start this Friday in Glencoe. If the injections are successful to bring up his blood work numbers, the plan is to have spinal fusion surgery on January 21, depending on his response to the treatment with injections. He would really like to be able to have this done and get relief for his back pain, so we appreciate your prayers as to what should happen next. We need wisdom to know how to proceed. We thank you for your continued love, prayers, and support. We are so grateful for our CrossPoint family and especially to God for His Presence in our lives. He is our Rock.

Please pray for Zoe, Dustin and I as we navigate being on one income, the high medical bills and payments for the new furnace we needed this winter. I'm very stressed and honestly hope is very far from my mind. I feel we will never be able to do more than just barely scrape by.

Please pray for my mom. She has so much anger and guilt in her heart over my grandma’s passing (her mom). Pray she can let go of those feelings and start to heal from her pain.
