Strong & Courageous in 2024

Church on

a mission

God is calling us in 2024 to be Strong and Courageous because we know that Jesus, who has all power and authority, is with us and called us to this mission of making disciples. Therefore, we’re not going to passively hope the mission gets fulfilled but actively engaged in it.

Our strategy to be strong and courageous in 2024 will be expressed in four initiatives throughout the year: know the gospel (Spring), know Christ (Summer), own the mission (fall), and cross the river (winter).

Our current intiative is, OWN THE MISSION. Learn more about how we're pursuing to own the mission this fall below.

STRONG & COURAGEOUS IN 2024

own the mission

Jesus has given us a mission to proclaim the gospel and make disciples. So what does it look like for us to fulfill that mission? There are four strategies for us to go after together that will enable us to experience the excitement of seeing Jesus’ mission accomplished through our church.

intercede

in prayer

The goal for the CrossPoint family is to pray daily for three people to know, understand and respond to the gospel.

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them…This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.

1 Timothy 2:1, 3-4

72 hours of prayer

COMING NOVEMBER 8-10

The foundation of every great movement of God is people praying

and interceding for others. So we’re going to pray this fall. We’re going to intercede for God to work in

miraculous ways to move people to desire the gospel, understanding it, and have their lives now and

for eternity transformed by it. Heartfelt, passionate, faith-filled prayers.

a note from pastor matt

"Church, I know that my heart isn’t burdened enough for people who are separated from God and in

need of a Savior, they may have no idea He exists or an awareness of their great need for a

Deliverer. Prayer focuses us in the midst of our busy lives that there is an all-important, spiritual battle

going on for the lives of people that matters for eternity. I know you want to give yourself to things that

matter in life. Let’s intercede for those we long to see the gospel transform."

Praying with you,

Matt Troyer, Senior Pastor
