Strong & Courageous in 2024

Cross the river

God is calling us in 2024 to be Strong and Courageous because we know that Jesus, who has all power and authority, is with us and called us to this mission of making disciples. Therefore, we’re not going to passively hope the mission gets fulfilled but actively engaged in it.

Our strategy to be strong and courageous in 2024 will be expressed in four initiatives throughout the year: know the gospel (Spring), know Christ (Summer), own the mission (fall), and cross the river (winter).

Our current initiative is, CROSS THE RIVER. Learn more below.

STRONG & COURAGEOUS IN 2024

cross the river

There came a time for Joshua and the Israelites to exercise faith, cross the river, and follow God into the promised land.  We’re going to identify opportunities before us to relationally engage those around us to show grace, share truth, and make disciples. It is a season to stretch our faith as we follow Jesus.

BLESS Someone

challenge

We will each seek to BLESS someone in our lives before the end of the year.

God works in a myriad of different ways to bring someone to salvation but there are some practices that we can do that will enable those we care about to hear the gospel through us.

One effective practice is the BLESS Strategy.

48-hours of prayer

November 8 - November 10 | 9:00 am

It is a bit audacious for us to pray around the clock as a church. Because we want to see lives transformed by Jesus and God do great things for his glory. We’re doing something we don’t normally do. Praying with a focus and intensity that is new to us tunes our hearts to the mission given to us by Jesus and trains us to look to him to accomplish it.

a note from pastor matt

"Church, I know that my heart isn’t burdened enough for people who are separated from God and in need of a Savior, they may have no idea He exists or an awareness of their great need for a Deliverer. Prayer focuses us in the midst of our busy lives that there is an all-important, spiritual battle going on for the lives of people that matters for eternity. I know you want to give yourself to things that matter in life. Let’s intercede for those we long to see the gospel transform."

Praying with you,

Matt Troyer, Senior Pastor
